July, 07 Guantanamo Bay Cuba (GTMO)

What can I say, I lucked out! I was invited to the change of command ceremony for Captain Ron Sollock, head of the Navy Hospital on GTMO an honor in itself and It just so happened, I had my gear and got in a few dives; 9 in two days to be exact. Dove "windmill beach", "cable beach", "girl scout", the "Navy barges" and the "slot". A special thanks to Ocean Enterprises and Reef Raiders for the hospitality. Divers will be divers and we are a tight knit group. You'll notice conch in the pictures and yes I ate them. Shellfish like conch and oyster are about all you'll catch me hunting for on SCUBA. What I could take pictures of on the base was limited, but here's what I got.
