SMS
Message Alerts: You
can have a small message sent to your cell phone, pager, PDA or any other device
that accepts SMS (Short Message Service) messages through email, each time that
you receive and order. Most
cell phones can accept SMS messages via an email address. The SMS address for
your phone is usually your phone number @ some domain. For example if you have a
Nextel phone your SMS address is yournumber@messaging.nextel.com e.g.
1234567890@messaging.nextel.com Check
with your service provider if you don't know the SMS address for your phone. If
you do have a Nextel, use the format above. Each
time you receive an order a small message is sent to your SMS device
(phone/PDA/pager) containing the order number, customer's name, order total and
the SMS service usually adds the date and time. Setup
SMS - On the Company Info page in your shopping cart control panel, under SMS
Message Alerts, simply choose Yes and enter your SMS email address.
