Setup Discount Pricing

EcommPro gives you the ability to offer discounted prices if multiple items are purchased.

For example you're selling a certain item for $30.00 each.

If someone wants to buy 5 or more of that same item you want $29.00 each.

For 10 or more you want $28.00 each and for 20 or more you want $27.00 each.

To accomplish this with EcommPro you setup a Discount Price Set.

A Discount Price Set, once created, can be applied to as many items as you want. So long as they all use the same prices. This way if many items use the same discount you only need to create the list once then apply it to the items. Otherwise create as many discount price lists as you need!

Here's how it's done:

• Login to the Shopping Cart Control Panel (www.yourdomain.com/scart/cartcp/login.asp)

• Click the Discount Pricing button.

• Click the Create a New Price Set.

• Enter a name for the List. This name you will use when applying the list to an item. (name like T-Shirts or Cases)

• Under Quantity in the first input box enter 1.

• Enter the price that you have set for the regular price of the item you intend to use the list one. (Base Price)

• In the second Quantity box enter the number that you want to start the discount on.

  • e.g. If you want to start the discount on more than 5 items, enter 6

  • Any number of items higher than 5 will use this discount unless you further discount for a higher quantity.

• To further discount enter the next quantity starting number like 10.

• Enter the discounted price next to the quantity. Now 10 or more items will use that price.

• (Repeat up to 12 times) - Click Save Changes

• Now that the List has been created, the Name you gave it will be in the Drop Down Menu on the Edit Items and Add Items Pages.

• You can apply it to items already in your database or to new ones that you add. Just look for Discount Pricing under the form field where you set that item's price.

• To apply to an item choose the Discount List Name from the select box and save.
